Lori, graduated from the Reporting Academy of Virginia in 1992 and joined Cook & Wiley in June of that year. Lori was elected to the Board of Directors of the VCRA in March of 2011 and is also a member of the NCRA. Lori enjoys all aspects of reporting and has covered numerous state and federal criminal trials. She is frequently requested to cover Virginia Supreme Court matters.
Linda attended the Reporting Academy of Virginia and joined Cook & Wiley in May of 1995. Linda enjoys reporting medical malpractice and head injury cases. She is a member of the NCRA and VCRA. Linda enjoys traveling and camping, and is an avid cyclist.

Helen graduated from the Reporting Academy of Virginia in 1997 and worked as a hearing reporter for the Commonwealth of Virginia until she joined Cook & Wiley in November of 2000. Helen is a certified LiveNote reporter and specializes in corporate litigation. She is a member of the VCRA and NCRA.
Karina graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Canton in Canton, New York in 2000. She has been a reporter since then and worked in New York and Ohio before joining Cook & Wiley in September of 2004. Karina lives in a suburb of Charlottesville, Virginia and covers the Charlottesville/Richmond area. She is a member of the NCRA. When she is not reporting, she enjoys shopping, reading, current events and relaxing with her family.
Lisa graduated summa cum laude from Mater Dei College in Ogdenburg, New York, in 1997. She has been a reporter since then and joined the Cook & Wiley firm in October of 2004. Lisa is a certified LiveNote reporter and specializes in corporate litigation and medical malpractice. She is a member of the VCRA and NCRA. Lisa lives in Troy, Virginia, with her husband and two daughters and covers the Charlottesville/Staunton/Richmond areas.
Dee attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and West Chester State University in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She graduated from The Reporting Academy of Virginia in May of 1996 and joined Cook & Wiley in March of 2006. Dee is a member of the VCRA and NCRA. She is a former Miss America as well as Mrs. America. She was the mayor of Chicago and finished second in the Iditarod after climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. She sells beauty products in her spare time and bakes, sews and cleans for the poor on Thursdays. She also likes to joke around a lot and be silly. Dee enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Rebecca graduated from the Virginia School of Technology in the spring of 2004. She joined Cook & Wiley in April of 2006. While in reporting school, she served as the student liaison for the VCRA. Rebecca currently serves on the board of two local animal charities (Does anyone want a puppy?) She is the firm comedian and keeps everyone laughing.
Diane graduated from the Statuzenberger College of Business in 1977 with an accounting degree. She then managed a hotel in Washburn, North Dakota, and was an accountant for a 40,000 head feedlot in Garden City, Kansas. After moving to Virginia, Diane attended and graduated from the Reporting Academy of Virginia in 1994. She worked for 11 years in the criminal field reporting several high-profile death penalty cases as well as reporting Federal Grand Jury testimony. Diane joined Cook & Wiley in 2007 and covers the central southern part of Virginia. She is a member of the VCRA. Diane enjoys cooking and baking, and her cakes are a work of art.
Ruth graduated from the Academy of Court Reporting in Akron, Ohio, in 1992. Since the 10th grade, she had always wanted to become a court reporter and live in Toronto. Upon graduation, she got her wish and worked in Toronto as a freelance reporter mainly doing daily copy for various governmental board hearings. She moved to Richmond in 1994 and worked for another local firm until she joined Cook & Wiley in June of 2009. Ruth enjoys medical malpractice and civil litigation. She is a member of the VCRA and NCRA. Ruth has two children and enjoys cooking, reading, movies and getting together with friends.
Chris attended the Reporting Academy of Virginia and started working for Cook & Wiley in the office in 1994 until she finished school in 1997, at which time she joined the firm as a full-time reporter. Chris is a certified LiveNote reporter. She is an avid gardener and enjoys cooking and traveling whenever time permits.
Leslie graduated from the American Institute of Business, located in Iowa, in 1986 and began her career in Virginia in 1987. She had her own firm until September of 2009 when Etheredge Reporting merged with Cook & Wiley. She specializes in medical malpractice and technical litigation. Leslie was elected to the Board of Directors of the VCRA in March of 2011 and is a member of NCRA. She enjoys bicycling and boating with her husband in her free time.
Christopher began his reporting career in 2007 working for a small boutique firm in Pittsburgh that specialized in complex public hearings. He and his wife, Valerie, moved to Richmond in August of 2010 when he joined Cook & Wiley. Christopher covers the Fredericksburg area as well as Richmond. He is a member of the NCRA.
Paula graduated from Stone Academy in Hamden, Connecticut, in 1992; however, she did not pursue court reporting until after she moved to Richmond in 2007 with her husband, two children, two dogs and a cranky cat. She joined the firm in June of 2011. Paula is a cheerleading coach for the Wooldridge Athletic Association and enjoys the gym, running and reading when she is not reporting.
Rose graduated from the Reporting Academy of Virginia in 1999, at which time she went to work for a local firm specializing in criminal cases. She joined Cook & Wiley in December of 2001. Rose is a member of the VCRA and NCRA.
Kelly graduated from the Reporting Academy of Virginia in May of 1999 and joined Cook & Wiley in May of 2006. Kelly enjoys both civil and criminal reporting. She is a member of the VCRA.
Lee Ann joined the firm in August of 2008. She is a member of the VCRA.
Karen graduated from the Reporting Academy of Virginia in January of 2000 and joined Cook & Wiley in August of that year. She is a member of the VCRA.
Lynda graduated from J. Sargeant Reynolds court reporting program in 1977 and has been a reporter since that time. Lynda had her own firm from 1986 until August of 2006, at which time she merged with Cook & Wiley. Lynda specializes in labor law, family law and personal injury. She is a member of the VCRA and NCRA.
Lisa graduated from the Stenotype Institute of South Dakota in 1981 and began her career in Western Kentucky working on black lung litigation. She moved to Richmond in January of 1985 to be closer to her brother, a US District court reporter. Lisa joined the firm of Cook & Wiley in January of 2008 and specializes in medical malpractice, products liability and federal patent cases, but she enjoys all aspects of reporting. She is a member of the VCRA and NCRA.
